FREE Railroad Covered Bridge Tour

From 2pm to 4:30pm

This is a unique opportunity to board a bus at the Corbin Bridge Festival to tour the Pier & Wright’s Railroad Covered Bridges. These bridges are only 2 of 8 railroad covered bridges left worldwide.  There are only 49 seats available. The bus will board at 2pm on Corbin Road near the big tent.  Sign up by calling the Newport Historical Society Museum, 603-863-1294, leaving your name and the number of people in your group. If you have questions, leave your phone number. You may also email this information to newporths1761@gmail.com or call Jackie Cote at 603-863-3105.  You may also sign up at the big tent near the bridge on the day of the Festival. Dr James Garvin is the retired State Architectural Historian and will share information on the history and construction of these two bridges. Don’t miss out on this FREE excursion!
